Designer, artist and creator of beautiful things!
Jo is an artist and designer from a creative family and has a Degree in Graphic Design. Having worked as a freelance designer, she began to experiment with hand printing to create her own unique style. Mixing her knowledge of old linocutting techniques with her digital photography skills, developed into creating her own coastal and country themed prints. This process has evolved into her own creative 'look' and brand - 'Seashells and Lavender'.
Designs are heavily influenced from the beauty of natures surroundings, enveloping the shapes and textures within. Working with cotton and linen neutral fabrics in subtle colours, her products and designs are unique to her own hand and complementary to many interiors and settings.
All of her products are individually hand printed, producing bold designs with a raw and unique feel. The constant rotation of new prints and colours aid in keeping that 'one off' bespoke look.
